John Daly, currently competing in Michigan, has built a reputation for his daring approach to playing golf. Despite facing health challenges, the five-time PGA Tour winner remains deeply passionate about the game. Whenever fans witness him teeing off on the course, his unwavering commitment and love for the sport shine through.

Just last month, Daly officially committed to compete in the $2,000,000 event Sanford International, a PGA Tour Champion event. It is said to take place from September 11 to 17 at Minnehaha Country Club. The official account “Sanford International” verified the news on Instagram on July 19th.

Now that the tournament is approaching, supporters expect him to perform well on the course with his incredible abilities. Despite multiple health challenges, including cancer and full knee replacement, Daly is a fighter.

However, it is important to note that lately, John Daly’s performances have been subpar. However, these disappointing results can largely be attributed to the health problems he has faced in recent years.

Daly managed to withstand serious health issues over the previous few years. He was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2020, for which he got surgery. However, there is still a risk of the cancer returning. And it is not just cancer that he struggled with.

Two years later, he had a full knee replacement surgery. He is still recovering to get his full range of motion. John Daly has also been open about his struggles with weight loss and addiction. Despite going to rehab twice, the 56-year-old could not overcome his struggles. Some people wondered how great John Daly’s career would have been if he did not have a drinking addiction.
